What's going on here? In America, if a citizen wants to say "This is why we don't like cops here," they get to say that. Cops don't then get to attack them for daring to say it. Police should be present at Gay Pride to protect the gay population from dangerous prejudice. They're not there to be an expression of it themselves.

we have no idea what lead up to this based on the video. Did these queens get up in the cops face, shove the cop, threaten the cop, who knows? Or was there something else going on? Are you going to die on the hill the cops randomly picked on a couple of people?

I'm slowly coming to the conclusion politicians and laws don't matter. The cops don't know the laws and do whatever they want. The cops are rarely held accountable for any of their actions. I see it everywhere. Hunter does crack on camera. Nothing. This guy talked. Arrested

Cops shouldn't be there to protect gays from the opinions of others. Cops should be there to protect the PEOPLE, all of them! It sucks that they get it wrong way too often, but they aren't there for just one group. P.S. Never punch a cop. Even if they deserve it, you'll lose.

Cops should not be at pride. They are an occupying force not here to protect people, but to protect capital. Pride should organize their own security.

When someone is handcuffed they have been arrested on a charge. No one can be arrested on a First Amendment Right in the United States. Therefore, it would be considered a false arrest, and victims can seek leave to sue the police department.
