What's going on here? In America, if a citizen wants to say "This is why we don't like cops here," they get to say that. Cops don't then get to attack them for daring to say it. Police should be present at Gay Pride to protect the gay population from dangerous prejudice. They're not there to be an expression of it themselves.

Cops are surely a big part of why pride exists. Because of their harassment and discrimination of gay and trans people as tools of the state. They can't be welcome at pride. They're not safe.
