Hard to imagine a greater man-made danger to humanity than nuclear bombs but AI might be it. It’s threat to us far outweighs potential benefits regardless of the cynically dreamy eyed illusions being fed us by tech billionaires. Bravo ⁦@NaomiAKleintheguardian.com/commentisfre…

Everybody saying “AI gonna destroy us” No one can clearly explain to me how this happens. They get into high level conceptual stuff. I’ve been coding for over a decade, i dont see how it is remotely possible a human could ever code something of extreme intelligence.

AI can indeed be a double-edged sword. It's fascinating to see how far we've come with technology, but we must always be wary of its potential implications for humanity. Naomi Klein brings up some very important points.
I'm very concerned about this!

AI is convenient in the moment but in the future it will become too powerful.

I couldn’t agree more.

Ai will never follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit because it will never be prompted by it. The division that can’t be crossed.
Tbh i disagree. I think it will be the greatest gift to humanity tech has ever given. But we need a UBI to allow us to transition safely.
There are many emerging national security threats that will need to be dealt with with the rise of this kind of technology moving forward. We'll need teams of skilled creative problem solvers to keep up with it all.

Since people like you insist on blocking UBI, the people's only chance to level the playing field with big corporations is through AI. So I say release the flood gates. If it destroys us, then we deserve it.
