If you want to have a chance at winning the nomination you need to be bold and stand for things you believe in, like UBI. Copying Bernie won't get you far. His supporters won't vote for you. Many of them didn't even vote for him.

Ok, let's hear how you would prevent the US from default. A practical plan, not "use the bully pulpit" or "appeal to rational GOPers." A real plan that would have the votes to get the bill through a GOP-controlled house or a Senate where we would have to overcome a filibuster.
