The great contradiction of this debt ceiling deal is that, while poverty is the 4th leading cause of death, this deal will make it harder to get food stamps but easier to spend money on war.

Imagine being against spending cuts when the country is rapidly closing in on $32 trillion dollars in debt. Continuing to borrow money to pay for money you already borrowed is self-defeating. You’re policies would only exacerbate this problem.
