The debt ceiling deal was a negotiation with economic terrorists. It protects those who do not need protection - who if anything should be held more accountable - and it inflicts harm on people who are most vulnerable. Also, it had nothing to do with fiscal responsibility. If McCarthy had really been about fiscal responsibility, he would’ve been open to cutting the military budget as well as letting Biden spend money on IRS agents who would’ve caught wealthy tax cheaters. Situations like this just keep moving the Overton window further and further away from a “government of the people, by the people, and for the people.”

Espousing love and labeling people economic terrorists seems incongruous.

The IRS agents were to go after the little guys. Evidenced by the fact that the virtual wallets like Rocket Money and PayPal now ask to categorize your transactions, and want to know who you are paying, and why.

Can we just stop labeling people we disagree with as "terrorists".

Why does it take 87,000 more agents to find people who are systematically avoiding taxes with a fraction of the legal and financial workforce to do so It’s not as if there’s infinite amount of tax loopholes that not even a thousand workers can find themselves

The language you use (fascists, terrorists, etc.) doesn’t really align with your message and won’t unify the country.
