I am glad you support our aid to Ukraine even if I feel your opinion piece gets a lot wrong. This war has been going on since 2014. Peace talks would be nice… if Russia hadn’t have said they wouldn’t come to the table without being given large amounts of Ukrainian land…

This option has been on the table for an extremely long time, and has been outlined and reiterated by Russia as recently as a couple of days ago. The demands have always been the same. Ukraine swears off joining EU and NATO and remains neutral, and that bans of Russian religion and language be rescinded by Ukraine. Marianne seems to hardly acknowledge just how ferociously the US and UK have fought to ensure Ukraine is on “our” side, even at the cost of countless lives and infrastructure.

If a candidate will morph/change their positions to pander; if elected, it’s a safe bet that same politician will morph/change their positions (back) for other personal incentives. Earned DIStrust has the citizenry w/holding benefit of the doubt from candidates/Electeds.

You claim to want end of military industrial complex but also plan to provide weapons to Ukraine. You say no to endless aide, but mention no amount as too much. No mention of what acceptable peace looks like. No Doubt you would say Ukraine decides, as you siphon OUR tax dollars.
