“The project could result in as many as five, two-mile-long crude-oil trains running over 100 miles directly alongside the headwaters of the Colorado River each day.” *And* they want tax breaks!

And allowed the Supreme Court to roll back the Clean Water Act? The Supreme Court should not be writing laws. The Idaho family should have been forced to abide to existing evironmental laws - not the other way around!

Tax breaks are how govt. seduces business. Check out the history of the first @VW plant in New Stanton, PA. Once the tax incentives ran out, so did they. Then, @Sony moved in. Same deal

It's obvious, that some think MONEY and PROFITS mean more than PEOPLE'S LIVES ... just as long as it's not their lives! ... We need to save and protect our rivers!

I agree, that peteoleum should travel by pipeline instead of train. Much cheaper and less prone to accidents and leaks.

They have to do something. They’ve been draining the Strategic Reserve and our bone headed foreign policy makers alienated some of the countries who would provide us with oil. And instead of a train, how about a pipeline? No?

Pipelines would be cleaner and safer. But Warren Buffet, who is in The Club (and you are not) own railroads and railroad oil tank cars.

I agree. This project will be awful. Why will you not commit to vote someone besides Biden, should the DNC continue their strategy of rigging any challenge to fossil fuel profits?

Hm. Make them pay for it.
