I admire the sentiment and I’m willing to be persuaded but - how could this ever be practical? Seriously, and respectfully, how is this not basically a Soviet idea - no unemployment as everyone is entitled to be on the government payroll?

So instead of states, similar to what Florida did had a vote on a constitutional amendment to raise wages, you want the federal government to step in and make it worse? Automation is here and will be taking more jobs careful where you tread.
