May I ask why you are not at least pushing for it as a tempoary fix in your campaign? If it is related to the stigma and pushback for the UBI branding, why not pivot to the "Freedom Dividend" branding or even narrow the conversation to something specific like an "AI Dividend"?

There is zero political path for another Federal direct payment program other than Social Security. A transitional training infrastructure that supports an adult during an education program that would lead to a job is not unreasonable.

Arguably, a UBI is part of the solution… but you are absolutely correct, radical libertarian industrial policy & extreme wealth must be addressed (as well as the economic violence waged against the American people). 1)

That's great you're not against UBI, but you should be very much for it. It may not solve everything, but it makes everything more solvable. And an optimal UBI design would greatly reduce inequality. That begs the question of what would address those alleged flaws. And nobody believes UBI is a panacea. That said, UBI does make many issues that may be intractable without it easier to address.
