The fact that 20% of Dems say they support RFK Jr is stunning and embarrassing for a party that has tried to define itself as normal, sane, evidence-based. (I realize name rec is doing the work for him here and voters don’t know how nuts he is, but still.)

Sorry, I disagree. Someone who has no idea how government is run should not start out with the top job. See: dismantling Pandemic Office, Freight Train Regulation, Drilling on Public Land, etc. #Clueless

The fact that someone has not served in office does not of itself mean they don’t know how government is run. I’ve been up close to it enough that I do know how it’s run, and that’s why I’m concerned enough to run for the office myself. People have an almost Wizard of Oz notion of government experience. I’m not running to be the wizard, I’m running to help pull down the curtain.
