Respectfully, are you aware that TX has a law which allows schools to arm/defend themselves? Called the Guardian Program. Uvalde chose dead kids over live ones. Sane conservative schools in TX are in the program because we love our kids. Our school>>> kxan.com/news/education/teac…

They're not military guns. Not one single military in the world uses the AR-15. None. I'll hang on to mine.

She's right that we need to ask and go deeper, that we're a violent country, that we can CHOOSE to be non-violent and to be loving.

Also re format active shooter training. Train with love always and gun safety for the love of our family and children. Teachers are trusted with our children. Would whomever your higher power is allow your child to die or defend them using our second amendment right.

I don’t know if bringing up Gun Control and Reagan together is really a great talking point, because he really only passed that law to disarm Black communities in California. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ But I would say access to the Internet and Social media has a much larger connection to the increase in frequency of school shootings. School shootings after the introduction of assault weapons are about the same until much later. School shootings after the introduction of the Internet skyrocketed.
