I’m in England now, where my daughter just gave birth to her first child. There is no way to describe how different the air feels in a hospital where no one is worried about how they’re going to pay the bill.

In America, Medicaid reward bad behaviors, private ins take hit subsidize for the cost induce by Medicaid cost. Same as new Biden mortgage rule penalize good scores to subsidize bad scores. Btw why people w money want to have procedure done in USA?

This is true. But Medicaid makes sure everyone who needs medical care gets it, without some kind of universal government poorly managed system. The price is the rest of us pay for it. Preferable to politician run medical care, though.

I used to think that too, but it doesn’t work that way. Medicaid is given through block grants, and states can withhold the money and services from the people for whom it’s intended. Incredibly, many do. Universal healthcare would not be “managed” by the government. It would be government funded, but not government run.

Why is our tax going to non citizens and multi generations? Are these multi generation families can’t find work n get off Medicaid? I’m in medical biz for 25 years I’m tired of big gov wasting tax $ on these 3+ welfare generations and the illegal aliens!!! Stop

Naturally, it's rationed out. That is the nature of government programs. Since they don't rely on revenue and expense prices, they are provided with fixed, finite resources, and rely on rationing. Whether at state or federal level, it is government rationing.
