I’m in England now, where my daughter just gave birth to her first child. There is no way to describe how different the air feels in a hospital where no one is worried about how they’re going to pay the bill.

Yeah...Expect the NHS costs the British taxpayer £135-160 billion pounds per year. And by my experience is a firmly sub-par health service. Just because you need something doesn't mean you're entitled to it.

I’m sitting at my pulmonologist now after having canceled my GP appointment and a CT scan because I couldn’t afford both copays while on short term disability. That’s after paying $200/month for Blue Cross Blue Shield as well. American healthcare is a joke, I just want treatment.
