Our friends on the far right think it’s bad if things are “free,” except when it comes to “free stuff” like multi-billion subsidies to companies already making billions of dollars in profit. 🧵

“Free” health care, tuition, child care, paid family leave etc. simply means paid for by your own taxes dollars!

The purpose of tax revenue should be to promote the common good, not simply create and maintain an exclusive casino where only a few hold all the cards.

How can we “afford” free universal health care, for example? We pay for it now; we just pay for it with our lives. Tens of thousands in America die each year from lack of health care.

It’s way over due that America should have universal health care. It will save money and lives in the long run. Small businesses won’t have to worry about providing healthcare for employees.

Proof? In the USA you don’t have to pay any bills. You cannot go to jail for unpaid medical bills. By law, you cannot go to jail for not paying civil debts. Medicare & Medicaid are easy to acquire. Also many free programs. No one is turned down at emergency rooms, even homeless.

Here are 5 reasons why universal healthcare is a BAD idea
An envisaged equitable, cost-effective, non-monopolizable, globally distributed AI/QC driven health care system may emerge ~10-15 years out, and operate on nested blockchains - Global Health Care Equivalency (GHCE), which will likely be driven by women. linkedin.com/pulse/women-lea…

NOW is a great time to pick the reparations dialogue back up.What happened? Did you forget about the people you were going to fight for? Well, don’t give up on us just yet Sis. Wether you win or don’t win, you set the tone and did something no other candidates have.

The problem is that taxes are theft. Taxing hard working people and companies to pay for other “freebies” is pick pocketing the American people. It should be every person on their own

Personally, I consider this to be a fundamental breaking of the contract that was signed in 1776, the Declaration of Independence, which states that we have an unalienable right to life. If your life is being alienated because you can't afford care, the contract is broken.

It’s free in Canada too. And very good quality. You still have the option to pay for private options if you like, but most people use the free health care. We never pay for hospital visits, or any care that a doctor provides. We just pay for some prescriptions.
