If we can pay for it with our tax dollars why can’t we just pay for it through our employer? You’re just trying to foment envy between the haves and have nots. This will be a justification for a government controlled economy. We will never let that happen. We are not communists.

You skipped the part where not everyone PAYS in as much as they TAKE out. Maybe you see America as a single financial 'block'. It's not. Each one of us is working for ourselves. Each has their own paycheck and their own bills.
