You, Mr. Speaker, are more than happy to spend “money we don’t have” as long as it’s on tax cuts for the very wealthy or subsidies for your corporate donors. The only ones you want to pay any sacrifice for your ill begotten notion of “fiscal responsibility” are the poor and disadvantaged.
Just got off the phone with the president while he’s out of the country. My position has not changed. Washington cannot continue to spend money we do not have at the expense of children and grandchildren. Tomorrow, he and I will meet in person to continue negotiations.

That's is so weird how leftwing political figures believe the money you make belongs to the government and any amount they graciously allow you to keep is somehow spending. Remember who works for who. We are not slaves

Tax cuts are not adding anything to any budget.

Tax cuts are not "spending money" unless you already think ALL money rightly belongs to the government to start with. That's communism. If you are a commie, please be more up front about it.

I suggest you donate the money that you’d rather the Govt tax you to a charity that will use YOUR money better than either you or the Govt could
