We’ve moved from democracy to oligarchy, and the only way to fix that is with fundamental economic reform.

Technically, A more accurate term is plutocracy instead of oligarchy, but yeah, we haven't been a democracy. Money has had a significantly larger influence over policy then the people for decades, and that money is controlled by a very few people.

Of the 80% of the financially stressed, how many are making poor financial decisions? Borrow money, go to college and major in field that pays poorly? Did they have kids, or buy a house, they can't afford? Carry credit card debt?

I completely agree that we need a new kind of politics in DC, one that prioritizes the needs of the people over corporate interests. Marianne Williamson's message of challenging the corporate takeover of our country is definitely something I can get behind.

Its funny that Marianne thinks we went from a Democracy to a Obligarchy....and when was the last time America was Democracy.?..It was fine when Obama was there for Marianne...A man that committed TREASON. Please remember she assisted in placing a Warmonger in Office....

Also structural reform. The senate is simply not democratic. Proportion representation or direct democracy is required if we want democracy
