This is nothing they should be bragging about. The U.S. should not be diminishing our commitment to the principle of asylum. The biggest crisis at the border is the humanitarian crisis for thousands of people now fleeing some of the worst violence imaginable. And much of that violence has been exacerbated by U.S. foreign policy in Latin America over the last 50 years.

I guess you have been listening to RFK, Jr. You are a fraud and a phony. Give it up before you totally embarrass yourself. You have no idea what you are doing and you know it. You won't be able to fake it untill you make it. You are a fraud

The American principle isn't asylum, or need or entitlement or pity or guilt. It's freedom

Countries need borders and the laws to protect them. We take in 700k-1.2M immigrants a year depending which party is in charge at any given time. If we take twice that amount in per year, we run the risk of overloading our system. This is my starting point.

You're not wrong. But that doesn't mean coming here is the answer. Not everyone who wants to live here is seeking asylum, and asylees should have priority. We need better immigration rules generally, but that's on Congress and not the POTUS.

"While asylum denial rates had grown ever higher during the Trump years to a peak of 71 percent in FY 2020, they fell to 63 percent in FY 2021. Expressed another way, success rates grew from 29 percent to 37 percent under President Biden." trac.syr.edu/immigration/rep…

Are you ready to admit yet that you were wrong to tell people to vote for this monster?

If that was true they’d seek asylum in neighboring countries, not thousands of miles away

You are spewing EVIL LIES. 1) USA has generally done GOOD to other countries, except when DemonRATS were in power. 2) 99% or 100% of the immigrants are NOT political or violence refugees, they are ECONOMIC refugees, coming to IS to make MORE MONEY.

You are just another EVIL COMMUNIST that will say and do anything to gain power.
