“We are connected, members of a shared nation and a shared economy, where the advantages of the rich often come at the expense of the poor. But that arrangement is not inevitable or permanent. It was made by human hands and can be unmade by them. We can fashion a new society, starting with our own lives.” - Matthew Desmond @just_shelter , POVERTY, BY AMERICA

Only until the money itself is fixed will we get a handle on poverty. As long as there is a central banking system and fiat currencies the powers that be will control who wins and who loses. The entire planet is under quadrillions of dollars of debt...who do you think is going to pay that debt?

We will never get lazy people to want to provide for themselves. It’s a nice thought, but just not realistic. The reality is that people are lazy and don’t do the things needed in life to take care of themselves. That isn’t a rich/poor problem, it’s a lazy versus willingness prob

While I agree with what he says. Who buys books about poverty? Poor people can't afford books, & the wealthy don't care about eradicating poverty.

youtube.com/watch?v=0KDtSdsd… This is two minutes and very profound. Please, ask Marianne to view it. Prem Rawat lives in the US, with his family. He has millions who admire and respect his work for peace. He could be a strong ally, if he chose to do so. I can't speak for him.

Capitalism developed because Feudalism was not compatible with the advancing technology. No one invented capitalism. And capitalism is not compatible with robotics, but socialism is.
