EU (besides Poland,which has a border with #Ukraine,& a particularly bad history with the old Russian Empire & both Bolsheviks & Stalinists), Europeans are not backing the VZ government vs. Putin nearly as much as USA; rather ~80% of 'sanctioned' trade is routed through arms trafficers.
