When police forces are historically and currently full of fascists and solely seek to uphold the status quo, you can't think that "Allowing police to take guns from those considered a danger to themselves or others (80%)" is a good idea, right? Everything else, okay.

The waiting period is a dumb idea. Do you know how many women have been murdered or harmed by their abusers while they were waiting for permission to purchase a gun? It's happened quite a bit. This idea won't go anywhere if people understand the real issues. And it's not guns.

Now do a poll of the donor class please. The NRA and other gun lobbyists Congress doesn't work for us, it works for them. The question we should work on an answer to is how do we get it back.
