True.
UK and Japan have very tight gun control. We have almost none. They have no mass shootings, we average more than one a day. Our gun deaths average about 300 times UK's and about 600 times Japan's. Saying gun control doesn't work is either brazen lying or complete ignorance.

Gun control works, but you need a citizenry that supports fewer guns. Then you need a buy-back program to take guns away from citizens. I just don't see this happening in the USA. People are convinced they need guns for self-defence.

I’m not a gun advocate and deplore the mass shootings in your country. But plenty of other nations have plenty of guns without the homicide issue. There’s something very wrong with your nation - and it ain’t the guns. And the rest of us are looking at it. Find and fix that.

We shouldn’t have to fear being shot while going out in public, but this is a pervasive and unacceptable reality for many people, & it is a tragedy that this fear is becoming all too common in many communities. Gun violence affects everyone, regardless of their background.

JAPAN AVERAGES ONLY 15 PEOPLE KILLED PER YEAR BY GUNS! ... Who said gun controls don't work?

"firearm" deaths is the wrong measure for a fair comparison. homicides would be better, as guns can also help prevent crime as well as hep commit it CDC reported 2m defensive uses a year, most of which the gun was not fired

That's stupid. Less access to guns - > less gun related deaths. UK has a knife crime issue. While Switzerland has a lot of military rifles (machine guns) amongst their population and next to no gun related deaths (outside of suicides). Try harder.
