We need more than a piecemeal, incremental approach to repairing this country. We need a new vision. We need fundamental economic reform. We need a 21st Century Economic Bill of Rights.

Shortly before he died, President Franklin Roosevelt asked the American people what they wanted after the war. They wanted health care. They wanted education. They wanted housing. They wanted a livable wage. And what Americans wanted then, Americans want now.

Roosevelt would have given it to them, and to the best of my ability so will I. We need more than a piecemeal, incremental approach to repairing this country. Poll after poll shows Americans feel that we are moving in the wrong direction. Why is that? Because we are.

We can turn around. We absolutely can. But we have to make it happen. Please listen to my speech on May 18th, tell your friends about it, and donate to the campaign so we can further the movement that is going to make it so. secure.actblue.com/donate/ma…

How about tossing your hat into a local election, and create change from the ground up? Maybe gain a swell of support for accomplishments made for actual constituants? Oh, right, that would be too much work.

Oh please stop. You know you have no chance of winning and you will help throw this country to Donald Trump again- a sexual assaulter.

UBI had better be on this. Especially if you're going to hint at MLK's rhetoric with words like 'piecemeal.'

No domestic progressive agenda will have a bit of traction in WW3. Your foreign policy is TRASH!

Great ideas! In my view, UBI (or a Negative Income Tax) must be the floor for economic reform. In my perspective, the other policies by themselves would tackle poverty's symptoms while poverty itself lived on. Let's have the abolishment of poverty rather than relief from it. 🙂

And what is your vision? What are your plans? What would you do differently? Why won't you answer these questions?

Looking forward to it. Just shared this from Harvey's feed.
