One of the most powerful things we can do to end the scourge of a mental health crisis is to end poverty. It's impossible to overestimate the role that chronic economic despair plays in pushing people into a state of crisis.

Wonder of mental health treatment funds are being diverted to help with the illegal immigrants in the sanctuary cities?

Be specific on fighting poverty!! If you do not include homelessness, hunger and a living wage, you are just talk. I offer specific plans to fight poverty! You offer chit chat! I reached out to you to! You blow me off! You are out of touchl! jahahughes.com/post/poverty

Yes and no. Eliminating poverty would help where mental illness is driven by drugs. You have mental illness in areas of wealth and prosperity too…just look at Epstein, Weinstein and the likes. Their mental illnesses are driven by greed and power.

Work on mental health and that will end poverty. I know a couple college educated people living in poverty & at one time had great paying jobs. Bc of mental illness, they’re unable to maintain employment. Socialism will not end poverty, it will make it worse.

No - mental health isn't the same as poverty. Mentally ill people are poor because they are mentally ill. Getting rid of poverty doesn't cure them.

No, being poor does not make people mentally unstable!! Wow, did you rally say that. Your friends, family, and CITY are 100% responsible for helping you. When they abandon you, LIKE NYC does this happens!!
