A homeless man was murdered on a NYC subway for doing nothing more than screaming that he's hungry. Then the Mayor calls it a "tragedy" related to "mental health issues" rather than a murder for which the murderer must be held accountable. A tragedy here is that so many Americans are so desperate that they're crying out for food in the middle of a subway; the mental health issue applies collectively to a society that can't break through this vicious cycle; and the question remains why no one in the subway car yelled out "STOP IT!!!" as they watched him die.

Well, that explains why you will never hold a national office. Ever.

False, it was not just “being hungry”.

I'm out. Not voting for you He was throwing things at ppl, screaming things like "'I don't mind going to jail &getting life in prison. I'm ready to die.'" You don't know enough context. Nor do I. You can't say he was murdered. "all he did was say that he's hungry"? that's a lie

A totally irresponsible tweet that is unbecoming for a "serious" candidate. Williamson has no clue what went down in that subway car, but I get the impression she will call for riots if the "murderer" isn't charged. Frankly, more cops on the trains might have prevented this.

Why aren’t you hungry right now?

This was the result of failed liberal policies that cause poverty, lawlessness, and unresponsive policing.

"Hungry" is a sliver of the context, without a doubt. Sadly the nation is so divided one "side" will focus on the word hungry and the other "side" will be forced to adopt an equally polarized narrative. Perhaps mental health IS a major issue AS IS unpunished criminals?

Dude has a HUGE rap sheet. To make this claim before all the facts come out is totally irresponsible.

Dude was a habitual violent offender that the Marine recognized from attempting to push some one on to the tracks days before. He should have been off the street and in jail or a treatment center, but NYC is soft on crime.
