A homeless man was murdered on a NYC subway for doing nothing more than screaming that he's hungry. Then the Mayor calls it a "tragedy" related to "mental health issues" rather than a murder for which the murderer must be held accountable. A tragedy here is that so many Americans are so desperate that they're crying out for food in the middle of a subway; the mental health issue applies collectively to a society that can't break through this vicious cycle; and the question remains why no one in the subway car yelled out "STOP IT!!!" as they watched him die.

At minimum this case needs to be brought to a grand jury to determine, if any, charges that should be brought. A man died in an altercation with another man, Due Process of law should still apply for him. If the other man had died, would there have been charges?

If I had been there, I could have stopped it, and I'm in a wheelchair. I always carry packaged food like snack bars and give them to troubled people. It calms them down. $ would have worked too. Everyone should be giving more.

Much more than just a homeless man. Career criminal. Call it what it is.

This says more about our court system that a man with a lengthy criminal history and obvious mental health issues wasn't ordered held in an institution where he could receive treatment for the mental health issues that might have been a huge factor in his legal troubles.

We need to make a change. This is beyond tragic, beyond dystopian. Rest in peace, gentle soul. 🕊️

From what I saw, was everyone using their cellphones to record the incident, but nobody stepped in to stop it.

At one time I had lot’s of respect for you. Attended Sunday sermon’s, brought and read all your books. This carried me through a very tough time in my life. However, now you’re running against Mr Biden, knowing you have no chance of winning. All you’re doing is taking votes P-2
