Solidarity with the striking graduate students at University of Michigan. No student should have to sell plasma to make ends meet.

I looked at the comments beneath this link on my Instagram page, and I was horrified by how many people say that they have had to sell their blood plasma in order to make it through school. We need an economic U-turn in this country and we need it now.

The Greed of Colleges and Universities ... is beyond ... COMPREHENSION!

My old man used to sell his plasma to get high, and to eat, I guess… but that was the 70’s and he pulled himself up so I didn’t have to. Unfortunately the deck was rigged against me and my generation, and now I’m going deeper and deeper into debt just for the chance to make it

Any economic U-turn would need to include Elizabeth Warren, Katie Porter, Bernie Sanders, and in some capacity, Brooksley Born. Start recruiting. Unity is the only way forward.

Yes we do. Quit lending so much money to students so colleges and universities can continue astronomical tuition.

A #GuaranteedBasicIncome, #RentalHousing based on income(max.30%), #UniversalHealthcare - these are the 3 most important economic issues that CAN BE EASILY ORDERED IN LAW. US politicians et al are NOT SERIOUS, nor SERVE THE PEOPLE if they keep IGNORING the PEOPLE!

It's heartbreaking to see how many people are struggling just to make ends meet, especially when it comes to something as basic as education. M. Williamson has some truly visionary ideas about how to create a more just and equitable society.

I'm definitely a medication rationer. It's the only way for right now that I can almost ensure that I'll have asthma meds next month
