I looked at the comments beneath this link on my Instagram page, and I was horrified by how many people say that they have had to sell their blood plasma in order to make it through school. We need an economic U-turn in this country and we need it now.

I sold plasma too when I was that age. Not a big deal and it did some good; plasma is needed. Why is it an issue to you?

I did this when I was in college in 1990...so did most of the people I know who had to pay for college themselves (meaning: their parents weren't paying for it).

So are you proposing an alternative to capitalism, or do you think that capitalism can solve its own issue? Economist like @profwolff would argue that capitalism can never solve the issue since it requires the exploitation of workers.
