Plasma is needed. They are paid for giving it. Sounds like a positive on both sides to me.

It’s no secret that college students sell their plasma for beer money or food. This has been going on for years.

If you’re not solving the the cost issue at the school level, paying for everyone’s education isn’t fixing the actual problem, it’s kicking the can down the road

We need to de-stigmatize selling plasma? Many people actually need it.

"Plasma is commonly given to trauma, burn and shock patients, as well as people with severe liver disease or multiple clotting factor deficiencies. It helps boost the patient's blood volume, which can prevent shock, and helps with blood clotting." (Per the Red Cross)

I think it speaks volumes that she is shocked by students selling plasma to make ends meet. Heck I was doing this back in the 90’s. This ain’t new sister!

The hard reality, one that many, many humans have faced before is that not everyone can afford to go to college. College education is not a right.

Get government out of education loans. The same "stimulus" calculus that they "boost" the economy with, causes increases in tuition prices when there is easy loan money to be had. Same with Medicare and medical care prices.
