I looked at the comments beneath this link on my Instagram page, and I was horrified by how many people say that they have had to sell their blood plasma in order to make it through school. We need an economic U-turn in this country and we need it now.

Um, we all sold plasma and worked in the 90s to get through school.

how about they get a regular job? When I was in college I knew people who worked went to school full time and did odd jobs like plasma or sperm to make ends meet. The didn't expect the rest of us to pay for choices they made.

These are not college students selling blood for beer and food. These are doctoral candidates teaching classes, conducting research and organizing events - it's a full time job on top of their studies. Their compensation does not reflect their work or value to the University...

It’s not just students there is a Biolife Plasma in BA that is full everyday with working people who need to buy there kids a meal, yeah some give so they can party, but most need gas to make it to work.
