We spend $858 billion a year on “national security,” while millions are not secure in their homes, secure in their jobs, secure they’ll get healthcare if they get sick, or secure that they will have enough food to eat, clean water to drink, or clean air to breathe. We need a radical reassessment of what the phrase “national security” should mean. It’s not enough to know another country won’t do you in, if all manner of things right here at home just might.

So I’m thinking part of your platform might be you describing what we need us a national security we certainly know that we don’t need to spend $1 trillion for the department of offense. The fact is we’re sending poor people in Ukraine and Russia to fight a war that the United States has manufactured for well over eight years. If the department of defense has a goal to de-stabilize, Russia, I think that department needs to be dismantled and reconfigured. We actually need to plan on what diplomacy really means and what respect of other nations values really means. I noticed Tony Blinken talking about Uganda Uganda is not the United States so he needs to stop talking if he wants to talk about atrocities all yours to do is look in the United States mirror for domestic policies that kill and prevent access to healthcare nationwide

Understand: the type of dollars allocated to DoD are the same type of dollars for housing, hunger, employment, etc. Government chooses to prioritize military over all else. Government creates the dollars. Austerity is a policy choice.

Its insanity Marie Anne. Pure and simply. Americans have their priorities all mixed up and are living their life backwards.

And kids aren’t secure going to school. We’re spending billions of dollars on toys, not national security.

They will kill you if you even come close to winning. They in this case are the military industrial complex, talk like this is what got JFK killed.
