According to much of the mainstream media, President Biden’s opponents simply do not exist. Speaking for myself, that is not what most bothers me… What bothers me is that to them, the poor do not exist. The chronic anxiety of those struggling to make ends meet does not exist. Hungry children in America do not exist. The corruption of their corporate sponsors does not exist. The destruction of the earth does not exist. Of course they seek to invisible-ize those who bring up such inconvenient topics. The derision of the status quo’s gatekeepers: almost a badge of honor in a world where the status quo is such a cesspool of denial and naïveté about the state of our country and the risks to our world.

They're right. You're just delusional. Nobody thinks the poor do not exist. It's just that the GOP WANTS them to exist, wants MORE of them to exist, and a lot of Republicans own the media. It's not like you have any viable plans to deal with the situation. You're just a whiner.

Part of the issue in this country is that the working class as a whole has become overly complacent and therefore are not seen as opponents to bad policy that works against us every day to keep us down. Tout le pouvoir au peuple!

The poor! Hell the middle class is feeling the pressure. Prime rates up, property tax up, insurances are up on top of the inflation. What can the Dems offer beside a luxury cardboard box on skid row?
