Yep. A blatant lie. When they say “he has no challengers,” they mean he has no challengers that THEY approve of! To them, a “qualified challenger” is someone who will effectuate and perpetuate the system as it is… the system within which they themselves are doing fine. That they call themselves champions of democracy is an increasingly tenuous description.
.@JaneMayerNYer, I have enjoyed your podcast 'The Political Scene' until the current episode in which you tell the blatant LIE that @JoeBiden has NO primary opponent, knowing full well he has TWO: @MarWilliamson & @RobertKennedyJr. It is journalistic malfeasance to ignore them.

Technically, anyone can declare themselves a candidate. If I did that, I'd have the same shot of winning that you do. A challenger has a nonzero chance. That's not me, and it's definitely not you.

Your not challenging anyone. The word challenge implies at chance to succeed.

And yet in the end you’ll tell everyone to vote for their candidates. What’s the point of this bleating if that’s a foregone conclusion.

And when you say there should be primary debates, what you are saying is YOU should be in the debates. Not the other 100+ people running for President as Democrats in 2024.

The proper phrasing is he has no Democratic challengers.

your party does not allow opposing ideas

Have you ever been elected to anything? Have you worked for a candidate, or someone in office? What have you done for the nation that qualifies you to be considered over the most successful President in decades? Where’s your respect, your integrity, your humility?

FYI, I've tried contacting you about this issue, but no one got back to me. I just get your standard e-mails asking for money. I want to challenge @SenatorDurbin, it would definitely help both of us if we had democratic primary challengers in more states.
