Republicans offer no relief at all, while Democrats are bragging that they achieved a $35/mo cap on insulin for those over 65. Okay, let’s break that down. That would still be $420 a year, and half of America’s seniors live on less than $25,000 a year. There are over 3 million insulin users over age 65, so if you multiply the 3 million by $420 that’s still a sweet profit for the pharmaceutical companies each year. And the situation gets worse. There are another over 5 million Americans needing insulin who are UNDER 65. Many are rationing their insulin, choosing on any given month whether to buy their insulin or pay their rent. This does not happen in countries where there is universal healthcare…which includes every advanced democracy except ours. What kind of “free market”leaves millions of people living their lives imprisoned behind the invisible walls of economic hardship? Millions of Americans have been trained to expect too little, numbed by a chronic, gnawing state of low-grade need to simply accept what they are given. They receive so little, and deserve so much more. #MedicareForAll (Gee, I wonder why the DNC doesn’t want to hold debates...)

You think you will pass Medicare for All? How are you going to do that. You have never had a government job and you don't seem to know how passing legislation works. POTUS is not a dictator that can wave a wand and make things happen IN A DEMOCRACY! Give SPECIFICS! 🤡🙄

Current healthcare system is failing millions of Americans, and it's time for a change. I believe that Medicare for All is the solution. I'm excited about the possibility of Marianne Williamson becoming the next president 👍Run Marianne Williamson Run👍

Trump is the one that lowered the cost. Biden is once again taking credit for a trump era accomplishment

Every “free market” functions as a prison for those underneath it

I love how Williamson stays on message and goes beyond soundbite factoid with an example. She is describing the majority’s lived experience and how irrelevant what Dems/GOP offer is

What you miss is that people don't want the government to buy their drugs, what they want is to not NEED drugs in the first place. What we want is someone to teach us how to have a healthy lifestyle and preventive care.

What would you do differently as President with the same congress in-charge? I can't imagine much different. You would not have the support that it takes to get these same issues through. Just like Biden.
