Some people think it's naive to think we could organize ourselves as a civilization along lines of compassion and collaboration. What's naive is to think humanity will survive another 100 years on this planet if we don't at least try.

Well...most World religions are organize and they promote civilized, compassion, and collaboration....historically man still fought each other! What should we unite on if not religion (#sarcasm)? Can we be so open-minded?

In our upside down, postmodern world where you're accused of abusing your 'privilege of objectivity' for asserting that 2+2=4, I think compassion and love are more real than anything else.

Then start better relations by getting more caucasians to settle the old debt and allow us to rebuild the nation will benefit as well

It's naive to think individuals want to align themselves with societal demands.

I don't disagree that compassion is necessary. I disagree that campaigning for it is a winning strategy. It's primary effect is to make you come across as a hippie promoting flower power. Don't talk about compassion, talk about Laws that REFLECT and ENACT compassion.
