A brave man, to live out his life expressing his cross-gender identity lifestyle, sure.
But calling him a woman is about as misogynistic and hurtful to feminism as you can get. Please stop pandering for popularity. It’s time for you to be brave.
Identifying as a woman, by using a fetishized reductive definition built around the patriarchal concepts of what classified as ‘womanly’ for women, that lasted for generations upon generation and literally imprisoned women and prohibited men by limiting their behavior by rigidly linking gender to the masculinity and femininity spectrum.
This is what made it so difficult for homosexuals to come out of the closet, and why it took so long for society to accept them, and you are tacitly reinforcing this patriarchal device by stating that if a man acts feminine he’s acting womanly and if a woman acts like she’s a man she’s acting manly when the truth is there is no right or wrong way to live like a man or woman and acting one way or the other does not change what you are.
This is reality, you’re either on board or you’re just pandering for votes.
