YES. Every public school in America should be a palace of learning, culture and the arts. America's children rank among the lowest in well-being factors among all advanced industrialized nations. We need a Department of Children and Youth and a president who focuses on the wellbeing of our children, willing to stand for them and protect them in ways they are neither stood for nor adequately protected now.
Wonderful day in Harrisburg calling on PA lawmakers to support a constitutional funding system for public schools so that all children—no matter where they live or what they look like—will have the resources they need to succeed.

We keep throwing money at the problem with diminishing returns. Simple fix is higher standards for academic achievement and behavior. It is not complicated.

You’re not capable of focusing “on the well-being of our children” being that you believe “clinical depression is a scam”. Are you serious?! You need to address your comments about behavioral health. I can tell you right now you will come nowhere close to ever being President.

That's our job as parents. We protect our children. Our children are not your business or anyone else's. Don't put your nose where it doesn't belong.

We also need a Department of Peace, as Dennis Kucinich proposed years ago. We need it more desperately now than we needed it when Kucinich proposed it. Our needs aren’t being met because the ravenous maw of the M-I complex is devouring our resources.

We also need to get rid of funds based off of the income in neighborhoods. This causes low income families to get less educated and perpetuates a deadly cycle.

The high school in my community looks like a juvenile detention center. Cop cars y todo. Pathetic.

They just tested 28 schools in this city. There is not one child that reads or do math at grade level. Not one.

She is crazy as a loon and apparently performing in the roll of Jill Stein this election cycle

More sign holding. Yikes. We need to show kids how to be more empowered than holding up signs. Mobilize and ARMY to build things, instead of teaching them to point the finger and hold up a sign. Armies do work, they don't just stand there with signs. That would be surrender.
