Biden likes to portray himself as being "pro union", but when push comes to shove, he sides with corporations & employers, as we saw during the railway workers' negotiations...workers who still don't have paid sick leave while the epidemic of train derailments continues.

Don't offer them UBI, threaten them with UBI, they'll respond better. If you threaten them with UBI they'll think they deserve the (not going to happen) slothful lethargy that they fear. Maybe they will embrace it as a punitive and temporary stage instead of a dreaded termination
