So then make voting reform a top priority. Until we move away from first past the post and towards things like RCV or STAR, 3rd parties will continue having an uphill battle.

It's not a PR strategy. Democratic party rank and file members don't like you. It's that simple. You can turn that into any conspiracy you want but it still won't make people like or trust you.
