It is a reality when capitalism is the system in place. All the wealth gets concentrated into a few families hands, leaving very little for the bottom 90%. To solve this we need a new system, a socialist one.

We can constantly offer up free child care, free ed, SNAP, Medicaid, etc. but, in reality, the root of the problem is that a single individual's income can no longer pay the bills of a nuclear-sized family. This is made impossible when CEOs and shareholders get all the money.
