Just don't do what California did and put in place regulations so onerous that many prefer to stay illegal, crime stays up, and enforcement costs more than the new tax revenue. Legalization is only good if it reduces illegality, enforcement costs and violence.

I'm so disappointed Biden did not do that. It was one of his promises while campaigning. It certainly was part of his platform. On this issue, he let a lot of people down. Absolutely no reason it should be a Schedule One drug. NONE. So many lives have been ruined because it is.
