Washington DC is filled with political car mechanics - some of them very good ones. Whoever the president is, such technicians are a necessary part of their administration. But the problem now is not that we lack good car mechanics. The problem is that we are on the wrong road. 39% of all Americans say they’re actually skipping meals in order to pay their rent. 44% of millennials now say that. 68,000 people die every year because they lack healthcare. 60% of Americans could not absorb a $400 unexpected expenditure. It doesn’t matter that the car is in good shape… if it’s headed towards a cliff.

We definitely need to get off of the “Corporations are people” road filled with lobbyists, liars, and thieves and onto the “For the people” road where our insurance isn’t tied to our jobs, our taxes go towards fixing our cities, and our people aren’t living paycheck to paycheck.

If your family loved you, they would get you the psychological treatment you so desperately need.

Never ever compare technicians to politicians. We work

Hyperpartisan media has sowed so much distrust and dissent that Americans literally don’t know anything but PR firm narratives. Media isn’t going to change anything that profitable.

Cool, cool. What are your solutions to all that? You can start with people skipping meals to pay rent. How would you fix that? How would you get your fix through congress?
