Over the last 48 years there has been a $50T transfer of wealth from the bottom 90% to the top 1%. This has not been merely a transfer of wealth. It has been a transfer of hope, of opportunity, and in many cases even the possibility of a better life. A corrupt alliance of corporate and government power has hijacked our government, destroyed our middle class, eroded our democracy and is robbing us of a livable future. We don’t need to “improve” that system. We need to repudiate it. “You can have large amounts of money concentrated in the hands of a very few, or you can have democracy. You cannot have both.” - Louis Brandeis We need to cut the cord that ties us to an aberrational era of American history. We need a revolution at the ballot box. Marianne2024.com

Oh, it will trickle down, right? Only way it trickles down is through tax increases. Start with shoring up #SocialSecurity by blowing up the cap on earnings. Someone earning $100 million pays the same as $165k earner.

Wealth isn't a zero sum game. Wealth is created all the time. If I gain wealth it doesn't mean someone else lost wealth.

Guess who had a large hand in this. The military industrial complex. Which you are for when you support wars and bombs in other countries. You don't really give a shit about poor people or you would be antiwar no matter what because poor people are the ones that pay the price

You do know this is the result of Government not inspite of it right? This directly tracks the growth of government and government debt growth and not one other metric. So stop pretending this is a problem that government can solve.z the solution is massive reduction of the federal government and a more free market system. You are just picking at things that upset people to pander for votes

Anyone who believes in zero-sum economics is too stupid to be voting much less hold public office.

If you don't understand that this wealth is transferred by government policy you should drop out of the race.

The 1% today and the 1% 48 years ago are two very different sets of people. There is little overlap between the two. You are complaining about imaginary people.

Agreed, so whole-heartedly! But, if you have a middle class, then by default, you must have an upper and a lower class. #ThatsJustMath You can't have a revolution with this two-party duopoly. We'all are gonna need to #jumpship and start a NEW government. A swamp is still a swamp...even if you drain it.
