In Denver area, they say 40% of the homeless have jobs.
Cheaper to give up high rent than to give up a car payment...
Yet "common sense" says "the Poor" should give up their ride and take the bus.
Only in America, we PREFER to throw away 90% of a person if they are 10% short.
There is no other affluent country with the kind of poverty we have in the U.S. We need major change to spread the wealth instead of continuing to concentrate it.
But by all means keep supporting the system where most of the people do all of the work for the benefit of a select few who have direct incentive to squeeze us as hard as possible for their own profit!
But let's face it. You get to be one of the select few.
