There's a saying in AA about what happens when you grow "sick and tired of being sick and tired." You have to make a decision; your only two choices then are to spiral down, or to spiral up. It feels like the country is "sick and tired of being sick and tired" now, and people are spiraling down all over the place. What we need is a collective spiraling up, enough of us willing to say "No, we're not going down. We have decided not to. And we get that staying where we are is a form of spiraling down, just more slowly." We can choose to rise. We can commit to change, break with the past, cut the cord that has bound us to undue corporate influence on our government and on our lives, and start a season of repair. The only thing stopping us is the thought that it can't be done. #DisruptTheSystem Marianne2024.com

I stand corrected. “Sick and tired of being sick and tired” is actually a quote from Fannie Lou Hamer

There is also a saying about a frog in a boiling pot. This is where we are. And it's likely by design.

I remember your political aspirations spiraling down.

Reform is necessary in several areas because the current mindset of political leadership is SHIT. The U.S. pulse on politics today in America is not taken seriously and confidence in this government is in the dumps. How's Joe doing these days? His stand in scratched his neck. SMH

What you don’t seem to understand is people are sick and tired but when the govt weaponizes it’s agencies against hard working people you tend to not fight back.
