And this is what Americans are beginning to understand… There’s no good reason why Americans don’t have universal healthcare like they have in every other advanced democracy. Some politicians would have you believe “it’s complicated.” But it isn’t complicated. It’s corrupt.

This one time, as I was leaving the doctor’s office in Germany and they knew I was American the front desk quipped, “We’ll send you the bill.” I was like sure, okay — and then the staff burst out laughing. German joke! There’s no bill, not like in America. Ha ha! HA! 🙄😆

I miss the healthcare I had when I lived in South Korea. Cheaper, faster, better care, easily accessible. Sick? Just walk into your nearest hospital and you'll be out with a shot and a prescription in 15 mins. This from a country that's only been industrialized for 70ish years.
