And this is what Americans are beginning to understand… There’s no good reason why Americans don’t have universal healthcare like they have in every other advanced democracy. Some politicians would have you believe “it’s complicated.” But it isn’t complicated. It’s corrupt.
This one time, as I was leaving the doctor’s office in Germany and they knew I was American the front desk quipped, “We’ll send you the bill.” I was like sure, okay — and then the staff burst out laughing. German joke! There’s no bill, not like in America. Ha ha! HA! 🙄😆

Why doesn't the @DNC bring useful bills, like a M4A bill, and put people on record and defend votes? Stop hiding behind the filibuster or the parliamentarian.

Germany had the first national Healthcare service, which lead to a strong anti national healthcare sentiment when occupied Germany started invading other countries for a period of half a century.

I don’t want a tax rate of 40% like in Germany to pay for healthcare, no thanks.

As a student of @courseinmiracle Democrats today are not Love. 'Establishment' points you make show a ignorance of what the Dems are now. Ramakrishna said the fall of Man is desire for Power & Money This is Both Parties. Dems are just better at it🙃

This is not true. My friend who works as a postdoctoral researcher in German paid for the shipping fee for her insulin... it is several euros... 🤪

It's very complicated, because Americans have been trained to view universal healthcare as substandard. Just like we're trained to view Russia as the Boogeyman behind everything. Our health system won't change until Americans understand that the private system has failed us.

You might want to check out the systems in Canada and the UK are like right now. Bankrupt and resorting to rationing of services. Same in France and everywhere else they have this. It’s not a viable solution to the problems we have.
