And this is what Americans are beginning to understand… There’s no good reason why Americans don’t have universal healthcare like they have in every other advanced democracy. Some politicians would have you believe “it’s complicated.” But it isn’t complicated. It’s corrupt.
This one time, as I was leaving the doctor’s office in Germany and they knew I was American the front desk quipped, “We’ll send you the bill.” I was like sure, okay — and then the staff burst out laughing. German joke! There’s no bill, not like in America. Ha ha! HA! 🙄😆

Hi, I would love it if you could speak out about the revolution in Iran along with using the hashtags: #MahsaAmini and #IranRevolution. This would help a ton to keep this issue in the media spotlight especially coming from a U.S. presidential candidate.

My mother sadly passed a while ago. Before she did, she spent over a month in the hospital, well, in and out of hospital repeatedly. The bills came to like a couple hundred bucks, mostly for ancillary costs. Universal health care. "Medical bankruptcy" is an oxymoron in Europe.

We do have universal healthcare. What we don't have is universal health insurance. Educate yourself and know the difference.

>There’s no good reason why Americans don’t have universal healthcare There are some very good reasons: 1) Healthcare is VERY expensive in America. 2) America is VERY corrupt. 3) America don't care about health, they only seek care after they are sick. Rename it to Sickcare.

Too many people die every year when we have the resources to prevent it. This isn't just letting people die, we're making an active choice every single day. We have their blood on our hands

We live under the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie. They benifit from healthcare being a commodity bot a right or public good. Thats why the oppose measures to decommodify healthcare like single payer or nationalized health services.
