And this is what Americans are beginning to understand… There’s no good reason why Americans don’t have universal healthcare like they have in every other advanced democracy. Some politicians would have you believe “it’s complicated.” But it isn’t complicated. It’s corrupt.

This one time, as I was leaving the doctor’s office in Germany and they knew I was American the front desk quipped, “We’ll send you the bill.” I was like sure, okay — and then the staff burst out laughing. German joke! There’s no bill, not like in America. Ha ha! HA! 🙄😆

You could have an insurance company that covers everything the same way as they do in Germany, but nobody could afford it here. We have additional problems making healthcare so expensive.
